It is coming close to Halloween and as always, I'm looking for new goodies for everyone to enjoy.
This year, I found some neat LED Stage lights !
As a musician / bandmember, I will use them for the band stage too.
They are color-changing and quite bright.
So, this year, instead of just using 1 green stage light, I'll be hooking up the new lights on the lighting stands in the front yard and having COLOR=CHANGING lights!
They are DMX linked (with a standard XLR microphone cable), so both lights will do the same things for quite the fill effect.
I also bought a new 75 watt strobe light for use in the main tree. This should enhance the tiny 35 watt strobes around the yard.
One of these nights, I'm going to set up the LEDs out in front and test the effect to see if I need any more.
I'm still on the lookout for a nice fog machine to replace the small 1,000 watt machines that have worn out.
I'm thinking about the Chauvet Hurricane 1300 which does approximately 30,000 CFM !
TIP - Buy a GOOD ONE at first. 30 - 50 dollar machines don't put out much, and they last about 2 seasons.
Halloween is all about staging!
